Hair Affair Policies
At Hair Affair, each appointment is carefully scheduled to allow dedicated, one-to-one time in a calm studio setting.
Please take a moment to read the policies below before booking.
Deposits
Selected colour services require a deposit to secure your appointment.
Deposits are deducted from your final bill and are transferable with a minimum of 48 hours notice.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may result in the loss of deposit.
Colour Consultations & Skin Testing
All new colour clients are required to attend a colour consultation and skin test at least 48 hours prior to their appointment.
This ensures:
• suitability for colour services
• safe application
• realistic expectation setting
• accurate time allocation
Appointments booked without a consultation may be declined.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
This allows the time to be offered to another client.
Repeated late cancellations may require future appointments to be secured with a deposit.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 10–15 minutes late, your service may need to be adjusted or rescheduled to avoid impacting the next client.
Colour Services & Results
Results of lightening, blonding and colour correction services depend on previous colour history and hair condition.
Multiple sessions may be required to achieve your desired result.
Hair integrity and condition will always be prioritised.
Additional time or product required due to length, density or previous colour may incur an additional charge. This will always be discussed prior to proceeding.

If you are unwell, please contact the salon as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling your appointment.
